i enjoyed myself yesterday. hung out with the PBMA people (persatuan budak-budak Melayu Anderson). played badminton then had dinner at Cafeela in Jalan Kayu. but i only started to have real fun when i lepak-ed with Khalis n Nizar. the last time i hung out with Nizar was years ago. anyway we sat at Central Stage AMK and joked around. khalis kept making love sounds, LOUDLY i might add, and kept dissing a certain friend. and we spent about 20 mins talking to a drunk apek. fun shit.
theyre going off to NS on 8 jan. best friends, TOGETHER! those two are meant for each other lah serious. helloooooo Mat CD! =)

Assalamualaikum,
ive been considering a few things lately...such as not going to University, or maybe just postponing my higher education for a year or two. *rests head in hands* i can honestly say that im beginning to feel lethargic when i think about my studies. there are so many things that i wanna do, wanna explore. if only i had the drive (and energy) to strive to achieve some of those aspirations. dont get me wrong, i do hope to be a graduate one day. and the reason for my reluctance mainly stems from my inability to decide what course i wanna take in Uni... i want to take Mass Comm, but im not sure im good enough. Malay studies doesnt interest me much, and the only career that i can fathom after graduating with that would be becoming a Malay teacher. not that theres anything wrong with that. just that i believe my talents lies somewhere else...
thus, my consideration of postponing University...

and my heart's still broken. i dont know what to do...
i may have found a job. Alhamdulillah for that.

Assalamualaikum,
im starting to get real lazy to blog. but yeah...ive got nothing else to do now. so i might as well...
went to Escape theme park yesterday with Nadz and Faz. overall the outing wasn't so great. not because of the company, but because of the glitches that kept coming up throughout the time. we set out in the morning and managed to reach the park at about 11.30. feeling kinda excited about the rides, we decided to take Flipper first. after queuing and getting seated and locked in the capsules, SKALI ADA POWER TRIP! dah kena keluar...all the rides were closed. we spent one hour just sitting about and groaning and complaining and playing the carnival games. dah lah bahang, we couldn't ride anything. waaaaah...really grated our nerves. once the power trip was solved, we took the Pirateship. MAAKKKKK! it was scarier than i previously remembered. i tried my hardest not to scream at every fall, i think they made the swing higher since the last time i came...haha halfway faz was already praying for the ride to stop

haha...faz faz. i didn't want to admit it but the ride did kinda freak me out. but i liked it! its those kind of kelakar seram kind of emotions. (whaaaat?) Inverter was so-so lah. wasnt that scary. screamed for fun. i screamed for fun for most of the rides, especially during Flipper. Flipper is just memabukkan. not really fun...Faz sang A Whole New World and i gave a blood-curdling scream near the end to compensate for the lack of thrill. haha. terbiat. ok the Haunted House wasnt freaky AT ALL! it was just a fun walk-through while enjoying air con, i swear. haha. the ferris wheel was a moment for us to cool down, then got bored. the rain started by then. took Rainbow as our last ride and took off for prayers...

alrite-o. the next part of my entry shall be a tribute to my insecurities, some past and some maybe present...hoohoo.
insecurity numero uno: my bunions
haha sounds kinda erotic doesnt it? well ITS NOT! A bunion is actually the enlarged joint which connects ur big toe to the rest of your foot. i have a bunion on both feet, but my right foot has a bigger bunion. ITS NOT A GROWTH EH! haha. just enlarged bone. well, i used to be very insecure about it. im the only one in the family that has it, which is really annoying. the fact that my feet are already bony makes the bunion all the more obvious and my feet look ugly at times...okay, alot of the time. but now, i realise that alot of people have it, and that its not a rare condition. asmah has it, i saw my ustadzah with it, some people's mums have it. and that made me feel better about my condition. that im not such a freak after all... now my concern towards the bunion isnt really about how it looks, but about how much pain i get from wearing covered shoes which compress it...
insecurity numero dos: my dark spot
to make it clear, i dnt have MOLES on my face. moles generally refer to the 3D ones that was popularized by Phua Chu Kang and can have hair growing out of it (haha GROSS!). well i dont have MOLES. i have Dark Spots or tahi lalat. and i guess the most prominent one on me is the one near my eye. i used to HATE it so much in primary school. mostly because some of the kids liked to make fun of it. the fact that its close to the middle of my forehead makes it seem like a pothu (is tt what its called? the one tt indians wear?). and they made fun of it...kurangasam punya budak-budak -.- i hated my tahi lalat so much that i actually tried to scratch it off. i SERIOUSLY stood in front of the mirror, and kept scratching at it for about half an hour until the skin came off and i started bleeding. haha young bodoh me! so instead of a dark spot, there was a kudis. which kinda look like the same thing coz theyre both dark so mcm pointless gitu aku try to scratch it off. i thot that i had gotten rid of the tahi lalat. unfortunately i didnt know that the melanin that causes the pigmentation comes from lower layers of skin, so after the kudis was gone, my dark spot was still there. thinking about that now, it was a dumb DUMB thing to do... and now, i dont care that my tahi lalat is there. ive learnt to live with it, and my cousin once said that she liked it, so it made me feel better. haha weird weird me...
insecurity numero tres: my senget teeth
daymn. how i envy people with nice, straight pearly whites. my teeth are relatively straight, except for the 2nd tooth at the top middle left and the BOGEH beside it. if u still dont know the story, i have this bogeh because of surgery i had done in sec 3 or 4. i was a late bloomer, so i still had some baby teeth even in sec 3.. i went to the doc to have them extracted. most of the adult teeth grew out fine, except for my left canine. after 6 months, still no sign of the tooth so i went for an X-ray. turns out the adult tooth was HORIZONTAL in the gums, meaning it couldnt grow out. i had to go for surgery to get the tooth out. so i did. and now i will be forever bogeh cause i dont have an adult tooth to replace that space. unless i get braces, or install a fake tooth. but thats too expensive for me now...maybe when im working ill get braces. better late than never i guess... im insecure about my smile. thats why i cover my mouth when i laugh, so people dont see my teeth. im ok about smiling...coz from a distance, my teeth look pretty straight and look normal in pictures.
im such a freak. haha. im weird i know...god. haha. but i guess im ok with who i am. coz in spite of all these, im still loved by family and friends. and that more than deserves kesyukuran to Allah. amin =) out

haha. its been a week since prom and i still haven't blogged about it. i better do it now before i start forgetting and then end up not talking about it altogether.
so FINALLY, PROM DAY ARRIVED!
after all that cumbersome shopping for prom stuff, the day finally came. the day started with the Qizmets (most of us, anyway) meeting at Fizah's place. met at 1. guess it was too early coz we didnt start getting ready until after three. meanwhile, we made french toast and i started on Syik's hair...actually used a hair straightener to curl her hair. check it out =)
after awhile, Sahu and Rina came over to help us out. Rina helped us out with our hair. Taking inspiration from my mod-chic dress, she gave me a minah agogo updo. i like =) it was exactly what i had imagined. Thanks Rina. i loved Fizah's hair with her gold headband that she borrowed from Rina. nice abes. helped the other girls with makeup...and off we were to Hyatt
booked a maxicab. not bad, pretty cheap. $40 for a one-way trip for 7 people. tak kah murah itu? otw to Hyatt, we drove by other TPJC-ians we saw as we peeked into people's cars. OKAY FAST FORWARD TO PROM!
overall, prom was so-so. the ballroom was beautiful. i loved the wallpaper, and the design of the lights. the table centrepiece was simple. the food jangan cakap ah. the food was soooo NOT worth the 80 buckeroos that we had to fork out. there was soto, ayam masak merah, rendang, ikan etc. dessert was just cut fruits -.-
i mean seriously, just because its halal food doesnt mean it needs to be malay food. cari la western food, or halal chinese food, or mediterranean food ke apa? something different would be nice. if i wanted to get delicious malay food, i can conduct my own makansutra outing around Singapore and it would cost only a fraction of the price for prom. *taps foot in frustration*
other than that, entertainment was pretty alright. the emcee was pretty entertaining, but he had such a weird accent. amira and faiz stole the show with their funny antics during the game. haha merepek lah dua orang tu...i was itching to get on the dancefloor. but when the prom finally ended and it was time to boogie, i became shy coz no one else danced. most of the people who do dance were already headed to Zouk for the post prom. my friends were too shy to dance, so i didnt dance too. sedih nya =( anyway, they fogged the place so much it was getting difficult to even breathe.
so we went outside and apa lagi...PICTURES BABY!!! enjoy
